I haven't watched all of Akira myself yet, but yup I watched enough of it to know what happened to Tetsuo. Yea, I agree it's sad, how could something like that happen to him!

Very nice piece of art! Very free and full of emotion. The feeling depicted here is apt.

You should totally watch it all the way through when you get the chance! It's such an interesting movie, and it was so sad
watching Tetsuo completely fall apart (figuratively and literally, haha)
