A couple of birds sitting on a rock looking out on the Northern Pacific Ocean in Crystal Cove, Newport, CA. I snuck up on them (sort of) like the ninja I am and took a couple pictures before sitting on the rock myself (the birds left) and gazing out on the ocean, staring at the sunset and Catalina Island (slightly visible here on the left, and I totally didn't *just* notice that), thinking how odd it was to be looking off the edge of the country/world as I know it, and also regretting not being able to capture the perfect wave-on-rock moment. Then I turned around and realized my brother and his fiancee had been sitting not far off from me the entire time, while I had been waiting for them. And I was like. Wut. improper English because reasons obviously
