Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Woman (nicknamed Spider-Gwen and The White Widow), an alternate version of Peter Parker's deceased girlfriend from a reality where she was bitten by the spider instead of Peter but then her Peter Parker died instead of her when she was forced to fight him after he became the Lizard, as an Earth Pony.
Version with the hood up.

Based on 's crossover fanfic 'Spiders and Magic: Rise of Spider-Mane' and the Spider-Verse comic book story arc.

Wonder what would happen if she appeared in the Spiders & Magic story like this, how would Twilight react to seeing her boyfriend's ex, and alive at that too. How would Peter feel in that universe as well?

I feel Peter would be conflicted with his feelings. Peter still loves Gwen as much as he loves Twilight. But he also has his daughter Mayday so he couldn't leave her behind.
Twilight would be at odds with Gwen at first, but I think eventually they would put aside their petty love rivalry.
As for Mayday, she really doesn't know much about Gwen aside from the fact she has spiders power like herself and her father. I think she would develop a sisterly friendship with her.

Makes sense, Peter would probably be happy but he knows he has a good thing going with Twilight, I just hope Twilight would put things aside, unless she wants to have another rivalry like she has with Black Cat, yet with Gwen it would seem more personal.
Part of me wants to see the author incorporate this into his fic, maybe at least for a side-story (though maybe it's too big for a side-story)

I would certainly hope that Jamal does incorporate Spider-Gwen into Spiders and Magic somehow. It would be a good possible plot to follow after Days of Future Past, if he does have any intentions of continuing further after that. It would give Peter some final closure and Twilight would get to know Gwen personally.
I'm not sure if this is true or not, but Morlun might appear in Spiders and Magic as a future villain. If that's the case, I wouldn't see any reason why Spider-Gwen could not make an appearance, or any of the alternate spiders for that matter.

Closure for Peter would be a good thing, though I wonder how Applejack would react to meeting Gwen since Peter says Applejack looks like Gwen. I'd also like to see Osborn's reaction.
It would be cool if Spiders & Magic continued after Part 3, the potential villain looks pretty ok, the idea of him stealing lifeforce (reminds me of Tirek), though I don't know him very well. Besides my favorite Spider-man villains had already appeared (Shocker & Venom) though the latter didn't do much, he wasn't even evil. Wish Shocker could return though.
The only Spider-man villain I want to see appear now is Mysterio, mainly for him to interact with Trixie, the only other Marvel character I wish to see is Human Torch, especially since he and Spider-man are great buddies so it's a shame he didn't appear (I'd also like to see him interact with Rainbow Dash, as would the original designer of this pic).
Other MLP characters I'd like to see Peter interact with are Lightning Dust, Cheese Sandwich, Maud Pie & Coco Pommel, I hope the fic author incorporates them.
Sorry for rambling on about this, all this cool bonus fan art gets me wondering what more can happen in a MLP Marvel crossover.

It's cool. We all like to speculate every now and then.
On the subject though. I bet it would be really awkward for both Gwen and AJ meeting someone who almost resembles you but with some slight differences, I think they would get along quite well. While Osborn would be baffled that 'Gwen' is alive and has spider powers, it would also give him an opportunity to torment Peter even further, maybe even put him in a situation where he is forced to choose between saving her or his family (like in SM1) or possibly put Gwen in the same situation where she's force to make the choice.
I don't really know too much about Morlun myself other than the fact that he's the main villain of 'The Other' and 'Spider-Verse' storylines and that he's one of the most dangerous and deadliest villains Spider-Man has ever faced and the only one to actually kill Spider-Man. Hell he even ripped off one of Peter's eyeballs and ate it!
I agree that it was a shame that Human Torch didn't make an appearance in the first story (aside from a small name mention in the second). Trixie meeting with 'The Great and Powerful, MYSTERIO!' would be something I like to see.

Cool, I'm not alone it seems, can't believe how much I liked the fic (not in an unhealthy way at least, I always draw a line).
That thing with Osborn DOES remind me of the 1st Spider-man movie where he gave Spider-man a choice between MJ & a bus full of kids (probably got the inspiration from the comic itself), but I can imagine an awkward situation, Peter can save Gwen properly and fix a mistake that's been eating away at him or choose to make sure Twilight and their daughter is safe from Osborn. It also reminds me of a game called Infamous where something similar happens at to the main hero.
That last part sounds gross, really gross...and I play Resident Evil.
If Trixie DID meet Mysterio, I wonder if they'd be friends or rivals, I usually imagined a comical situation but I think it can be serious if done right. Maybe Trixie can reform Mysterio, or he can corrupt her, though I doubt the latter. I did once imagine the idea of Trixie forming an entourage with Mysterio and they have their own little magic show.
I also can imagine, if Human Torch DOES go to Equestria, I wonder if he'd join The Wonderbolts, he IS a racer in his world so he'd fit them like a glove, maybe even have friendly rivalries with Rainbow Dash, Spitfire, Soarin, Fleetfoot & Lightning Dust.

If it ever happens, I would imagine that Peter would be shocked to see 'Gwen' alive but also surprised to see that she has spider powers. Gwen would probably feel the same thing vice versa. It'd be one hell of a tearful reunion.
