Description from my new series noir, presque transparent , work in progress or in regress

only scanned, no post process; the attempt in this series is to " catch " details on the negative surface and not the picture itself... but it's important the way the picture appears or disappears
i ever submitted some of these pictures, but i am thinking that i am near of the " good " result.

sorry

tool of the trade : elioflex, kodak portra, imacon 848

hmm, how do you get the texture on the film then?

nothing not so complicated to be called technique ... when i hear " technique " i often think about something of very difficult to do

then, the pictures are taken in a ver low lightning and the most often the picture was taken with a short exposure when it would better to be on the B exposure... it means that the negative is very clear, orange ... and i scann them with an Imacon, it makes the focus where it sees something and what it it sees the best are the texture of the roll and the scratches and the defaults ....

oh i see, i do something similar, where i shoot with 3200 iso film in very low light getting a lot of grain, put the film on a light table and take a macro shot with a digital camera using low low iso, for color images its harder, i don't know how to invert the orange colors so i have to get back every color individually by memory... its horrible...

interesting method wouldn't it be easier with a scann ?

did you attempt to add a blue filter in photoshop ?

tried the scan, didn't really pick up fine detail as well, I'll look into that blue filter.

i was thinking about your matter yesterday evening ... and i am not sure that the blue filter will work and like i never made something like that ( i've got the luck of working with a wonderful scanner ) i don't know how looks like your digital shouts of your colour negative... a little bite difficult for searching a solution or an easier way to do ...

maybe i'll make some attempts because it can be interesting
