So... I got the Cintiq 13HD. And it's amaaazing! I have a few issues I need to settle before it becomes perfect (like colour calibration, the HDMI connections problem and the wobbly stand), but seriously, this is one incredibly awesome machine. I love it
One thing I hope that it'll allow me to do is make inking more interesting. Inks have been the bane of my existence for the last five years or so, hah, but inking with the Cintiq should be a lot more fun. And I needed a test piece, so I grabbed this goofy-looking sketch of Kopa I've had lying around for a while and went for it. I'll need some practise, but this definitely helps. The pressure sensitivity on this thing is also a huuge difference from the Intuos (not sure why that is), so it makes drawing on it a real joy. The 13HD is a bit small, but I think I'll get used to it - A5 is my favourite size to sketch on anyway.
So, yeah. Still getting used to the idea that after all these years, I actually own a Cintiq. Wheee!

Kopa looks BRILLIANT!
Even though he was shown at the end of the 1st Lion King and carried by Rafiki , it was too bad that he should've been shown in the sequel and on Disney Junior's TV show 'The Lion Guard'.

He was Simba's son in a book series that came out in the mid-90s, long before the sequel to the film, called "The Lion King: Six New Adventures"

My biggest wish is to own a cintiq 13HD someday. I've seen reviews of it and it seems so nice especially since you can actually see your hand drawing on it which is what I love the most and miss on my tablet since it's a wacom bamboo. How does the pressure feel when you draw on it if I may ask?

The pressure sensitivity on it is much, much better than on my Intuos, so I imagine it'd be a world of a difference compared to the Bamboo! I hope you'll be able to get a Cintiq someday, they're a joy to work on

If only I had been more dedicated to an Art/Design career, I would consider more getting one. This Cintiq does look quite convenient. Oh well, maybe in a future xD

They're quite a big investment - I've got what is currently the cheapest model Wacom makes and that is still the most expensive thing I've ever bought... xP It's worth it though, because it is absolutely fantastic to use
