What a funky dude! I think the creature is just great and it has an awesome look just to its face alone. Pretty good job on the colors but I think you need to consider maybe darkening up one of his sides just to give him more dimension, maybe somewhere by his back. Just think of light source and what side should be lighter or darker. Just some very minor touches to bring him out just some more. Think the same for the rock too.
