Description
Light is always something good
and creatures of the night are often depicted as the evil ones…
But there’s neither good nor evil.
Everything depends on your angle of view.
Actually these two opposites just exist in our human minds.
Nature only knows life and death…

For us humans light illuminates our paths and is a symbol for hope.
For a small insect like a moth it’s a perilous trap.
It leads the poor thing astray.
The moth mistakes the light for the moon which it uses to maintain its course.
Eventually it flies into it and burns.
There are so many things which we consider as good.
But they can be bad for others, for animals or for our whole world.

This moth is actually a character from a little fairy tale I wanted to write (but never finished D: I’m not good in writing stories).
I depicted her as a fairy-like being to show the situation from a different angle.
Some people wouldn’t even care about a dying moth, would they?
But I think they’re cute :3
