For any Resident Evil who knows about Resident Evil 1.5, Roy and Elza here are two characters that never made it to the final version of Resident Evil 2, the one that we know and love very much.Resident Evil 1.5, Roy, and Elza belong to their respective owners(Capcom).
This is the first drawing where I didn't use so many references when it came to poses. I used only one just for Elza's sitting position.
Guess where Elza and Roy(some people calls him DJ) are at? It's the room where you get the RPD map from the locked safe(hint-hint).
This is the second attempt I made with drawing backgrounds. I hope the shading and background isn't too crappy. Longest part that took me forever was drawing the faces, heads, and hair. Yes, that's what took me a long time to do(besides being stressed in school, which pisses me off).
I don't why, but I find Elza and Roy(him being cute in a dorky way) to be interesting for some reason. Capcom should release RE 1.5 as an extra on a Resident Evil game or something. Anyway, I find these two characters to be really interesting. I could make a few theories about their characters(personalities). Roy seems like one of those shy or dorky-esqe type of geeks. Elza seems like one of those daring, kickass biker chicks(like Claire Redfeild, it'll be cool if Claire and her were bestfriends). Anyway, I guess you could say that Elza is visiting Roy at the Raccoon Police Station.

I think you might be going somewhere with this. Maybe a game or story about the early stages of the outbreak featuring Roy and Elza would be so badass. RPD is under attack, the Police are trying to fight off the zombies and Umbrella's monsters. Just imagine

Solid Snake in Raccoon City? What a crossover! That'd make for an interesting game considering Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil have different game styles, it'd be cool to do some sneaking around and espionage in Raccoon City.
In my own little fanon, the Resident Evil 1.5 police station would be a different precinct in Raccoon City and that would be where Roy and Elza's story in Raccoon City would take place. I still love Leon and Claire and the main story, I just wish characters like Roy and Elza would have at least still been included if anything else as mini games similar to HUNK's.

In my fanfic, Snake was arrested for getting drunk and was in one of the holding cells. When he came to, the city precint was under attack and it takes Marvin some time to get to him. He helps the group of survivors out of RPD by getting to a SWAT van.

Yes indeed it would be quite interesting to see these two in action, and I'm fairly sure that it would be a great romance type stroy line as well. But hey we can keep our fingers crossed can't we?

Yeah it'll work well enough for now. Heck I'm still working on my fan art pictures of my character from Resident Evil. I think I finally made Jack Stalinburge look like a cop..but eh, you never know.

I got two out of the bunch completed, so hopefully I can re-sketch the others. I pretty much took a couple of pages and did some very quick sketchs(not even recognizable as the characters, except the two pages). I know the deviation after my next one has Roy and Elza in it in a group picture.

Not bad, not bad at all. Elza and DJ were never done justice by Capcom. They should have had at least a small role in RE2. But all is well that ends well. And this picture is quite well drawn. You get a fav.

I agree, I wish Capcom would of atleast had some cameo, mini-game(like Hunk's), or even a file(like a note or diary) about them. But no... 
If Capcom ever makes a RE2 remake(I highly, highly doubt it all, but it doesn't hurt to dream doesn't it? 
Excuse me for the rambling here...
For example, Elza could be found with Robert Kendo in the Gunshop. There, a bunch of zombies burst through the window, it would be up to the player if they want to help Elza and Robert or just leave them. If you help them, Elza(and Robert for a little while in the game until he gets killed off) would be Claire's secondary(Sherry being her main support) support character(eventually getting separated from Claire later on).
Roy would be found with that one cop trying to get to the helicopter on the rooftop. When the zombies attack them, Leon has the choice to either help them or just watch them die(the same way when the cop accidently shoots the helicopter, thus crashing). If Leon helps them, Roy becomes his secondary support(with Ada being Leon's main support) character. Ofcourse, the cop guy from the rooftop would end up in a similar fate like Robert's and Roy would get separated from Leon as well. Later, Roy and Elza ends up finding each other.

The character in my avitar is Gambit from Xmen, I found the picture on google and decided to make it an avitar.
I agree, that would make much more sense on the whole Elza and Roy situation, I mean come on. Capcom normally at least has a death note or something in their games for unsuccessful characters. Who knows, we can only pray that Elza and Roy get their own little spin off game in the future.

I agree with you there about Roy and Elza. Hope they ended up surviving the Raccoon City outbreak together. It would be really awesome if the both of them were already in a relationship, too.

And in all honesty, if they didn't survive the out break I'll be very angry. Capcom shouldn't have just left them out. I mean come on, a geeky cop and a hot biker chick? That's priceless gold there my friend. And if they're in a relationship, I'm sure that would add a large plot and some great interesting diaolog from the characters.

I know, who wouldn't think it'd be a great idea. There hasn't been a geeky cop and a blonde female that can defend herself in a Resident Evil game yet. Them being in a relationship would add even more of something different for a Resident Evil game. Most characters we know end up meeting for the first time out of the blue in an outbreak.
If there was a game starring these two, I'd definitely buy it. Hands down.
