Thank you so much for letting me paint her! It certainly was a lot of fun!

I'm not so happy with the likeness between my painting and the photo, but I do like how the black fur came out.

I'm using a 2B pencil only for the sketch, the rest is done in watercolor and some opaque white.

Well, I think it doesn't matter so much which kind of medium you use as long as you know it. Then you can achieve almost anything with it. But if you have the chance to try different stuff, then this is always a good thing as well.

Oh yes, the quality of the materials can be important, of course. I just meant that you don't necessarily have to use the same medium as anyone else to create good artwork. Just use whatever you're comfortable with.
