Description

Here are another pair of minor characters for Freedom Squadron: Liberanger. They are Akio and Dixie Lane. They are Salvador's parents.

Akio is a Saluki who works as a game programmer and developer. His sister, Suki Lane has appeared in Sing 2. Dixie is a border collie much like her son, Salvador.

When drawing them, I use images of real Salukis when drawing Akio and images of real border collies for Dixie. I wanted them both to look different from the existing characters, but I did also need to use images for Suki and Salvador in the end.

Notes:

1. It can be assumed that Suki is somewhere in her 30's or 40's while Salvador is in his early 20's. If this is the case, Suki was likely a teenager when Salvador was born, meaning that Akio is somewhere in his late 40's or early 50's.

2. Dixie's name is a reference to how this was at one point going to be Suki's name in Sing 2.
