This is a more finished version of this image: [link]I wasn't happy with my character, he still looked too "rendered" plus he was way too clean for a guy in battle. So I fixed him up a little bit. You can't see all the details unless you zoom way way up, but it makes me happy anyways.
So I painted a lot of skin texture on him, which sadly you can't see this size, but it makes a huge difference at full size. Also, the blood and dirt, some scruff, and veins. Oh yeah and armpit hair. Cause what kind of male warrior shaves their pits?? Maybe to avoid pulling from the armor?

Not nearly well enough, but that's the way it goes when you are a peon and you sell your stuff on the stock sites lol! But it's a place to start anyways.

I haven't gotten a kindle, and probably won't. I don't read enough to justify it any more. Back during my days when I was buying one or two paperbacks every time I went through an airport (nearly every day) I would have jumped on something like Kindle.
Instead I ended up with 42 1.5 cubic foot boxes full of paperback books.

I don't have a kindle either but I have an app on my phone that can open them, which is really great. I usually just get free books from the library though, I have a library app, you download the book, you have it for 3 weeks and then it just gets deleted from your library and you can always download it again later if you want to. I had to stop buying books too. We still have way too many!

Chuckle. My book collection ended up going to a very good cause. My ex-boss at GE retired a couple of months before I left GE in Vegas, and opened a used book store. I did a very good job of filling out his sci-fi and techno-thriller shelves--I gave him about thirty-five of those boxes of books. As far as I know, he's still kicking and running his business. He's probably about 74-75 now. Smart guy. He did 20 years in the Air Force, retired, and went right to work for GE, and did 20 years with them. He and his wife paid their house and cars off before he 'retired' and opened the book store--and he owned the property the store was on. So his overhead was electricity and water... He was quite a character...
