About this deviation:

I did challenge myself to use only a laptop mousepad, so I guess it's not that bad. It's one redeeming feature is the eye. The rest is just all a little ehhh; but as always after several hours of pondering I grew sick of trying to fix it and decided this would have to suffice xD
I recoloured the horse to a more reddish colour as it was like... almost black and she wanted a bay xD Then I did some gentle lighting, I didn't want it to be too obvious, I wanted a 'natural/real/photograph' look. However the eye does clash a little. She wanted something simple yet not simple at the same time; so I went for a 'simple' two images, but then added rain (the droplets were a pain -.-") and spent a good deal of time on the eye. As I said it is a little bright. Then I spent some time making light alterations and adding various filters, decided it looked bad and just reverted back to a 'plainer' calmer look :3
