Description
Port Turbot is a fanciful sea town of my own making, vaguely inspired by the town of whitby on the east coast of Britian.I wasn't sure what category to put this in as it isn't really what I call "fantasy" I would appreciate your opinion on this....

This is just awesome sketching. Must have taken a while to do? I love this. There is so much detail in every bit and I would love to live here too; high up in that castle.

man, i'll love to stay in Cliff Hotel. It's on high enough ground to avoid freak floods, it's got a clear view of the horizon, and it's a comfortable walking distance from the port marketplace. I wonder what the back of the houses look like from there..
The port cove could use a lighthouse, or a small cluster of buoys. It'll be easier for the fishermen to find their way through the entrance at night.
I'm liking that cafe. A LOT <3 Here there be sea serpents? I'll love to see a sea serpent illustrated in your style.

It's a very nice hotel too! fish for breakfast every morning-for lunch and dinner too, but the cafe does have cookies,cakes and endless cups of coffee and tea so you should be ok

that seems like an awfully large piece. the last large watercolour I did myself was rather simple. buildings are so much fun to look at, I think its all those systematic lines.
y'know it kind of makes me want to make map-like paintings.
