This one was a little more technical for me, but the modern (or post-modern, as the case may be) setting called for some type of motor-cycle. Having been a while since I've drawn a machine, it was a lot of fun to work out the perspective on both the buildings and the bike.
When inking architecture, there are two ways to do so. The first, and by far the fastest, is to use a ruler and some type of tech pen. Nice, strong, even lines are the result. However...I took the second approach, and that was to ink all the lines with a brush. While there does tend to be a slight variation in the "straightness" of the line, I think it gives a certain organic feel to the overall work and makes it appear more natural.

The ink wash helped to add texture, form and dimension to the relatively simple line-work. Thanks for looking!

Okay, now you're REALLY just showing off...

I have known dozens of working artists over the years that couldn't get lines this neat or controlled even with a ruler!

Lol. Just a little, but sometimes one has to do something to make sure they still can.

Maybe need a wash of a shadow under the bike?

There is one there, but unfortunately, the scanner dropped out a good portion of the shadow, lol! Gotta love technology "fails." Perhaps I'll go back in and darken it on the original just a tad.

Yea, scanners and cameras are bad about that!

Impressive! Well done! Much better with the brush! I think the Tec. Pen would be too stiff!

Thanks. That's the problem I've had in the past when I used to do a lot of architectural renderings. Tech pens are great for speed, but the results are a little too "mechanical" for my taste.
