Meet Zae Shepard.The Niece of David Anderson, the youngest ever to be recruited in to the N7 program, Commander and woman extraordinaire.
Zae was brought on by the Mass Effect Female Shepard FB page .
They were looking for artists who features a non-deafult FemShep and Shepards of colour. Being a woman of colour myself I was happy to see that someone else had also seen the lack of Shepards with different ethnic heritages. I've been writing about Zae for a bit, but this gave me the opportunity to make a render with her as well. I have no idea why I haven't done her before! Perhaps because the fanfiction lacks love and all that. But here we are, hope you'll give my lovely Zae some love.

Well iI tried to do what you suggested and then I just had to fill in with the regular airbrush tool. Seriously like one pixel at a time. Haha but thanks so much for the ssuggestions. Tho I'm still sending my stuff so you can show me properly.
Do you have screencaps of yours? Send them my way (I'll mail you so you have my email) and I'll see what I can do. I have a few Sheps before yours that I need to do though.

Now that I've read the description I know it's not me missing one of your Shepards so far, rather you never depicted her before!
Now I'm wondering whether you have been sticking to one of the three canon Shepard backgrounds (survivor, hero or ruthless) for her and whether my hunch that she is a vanguard is correct. Guess I should read your fanfic to find out!

Zae is a total vanguard, punching her enemies with a biotic fist in the face.
I had Zae as a street kid, but as I was working on this one the thought of her being Anderson's niece was just a very compelling one.
So I'm currently editing her background in the fanfiction. I had the "old" Zae as ruthless earth kid, but I've already got one like that with Haze
and so I never felt Zae had her won personality. But nooooow. Lost of ideas came to me while working on this and brainstorming with JessGaskell .

Lol, think I perceived some kind of... "pugnacious" attitude from her looks in the picture and thought that didn't look fitting for an adept or a sentinel (at least to me)! On the other hand, I had the distinct impression Zae would not mind charging into a melee vanguard style and then swing around some biotic punches to get the job done!
Well, the canon origins/backgrounds for Shepard give rise to a limited amount of possible permutations, so adding a new well-thought background like "Anderson's niece" opens the way for several intriguing developments. Looking forward to seeing what else you have in store for Zae!

I kinda wish Kaidan's armor would be usable for Shepard. The blue colour in the armor customization always looks teal. There are some REALLY bright blue colours, but they don't work and look trashy.
