Description A belated little congratulatory gift for France for winning their second World Cup title

PS: You might realize something's off about Footix here, and you're right; Instead of dressing him in his usual garb (which is probably a leather overall ), I gave him a jersey that is based on the ones France wore during the finals

Wow, I really must live under a rock, I've never heard of this guy :/
A very appealing design here, the red and the dark blue compliment each other very well!
(How does that saying go again about something being as rare as chicken teeth? But it's so hard to draw smiles without the teeth!)

Heehee, well, I guess we can blame his relative obscurity on the last few World Cup mascots The furballs are just cuter, methinks

And looks like the French got it right when designing Footix here, based on what you said

And yeah, no wonder mammal furries are more popular; teeth are as important a facial feature as pretty much everything else, so being forced to draw someone missing teeth (such as the birdies) can be hard sometimes
(Having said that, I need to look at a few anthro birds I know to see if they use the teeth cheat )

Yeah, that coupled with my incredible general ignorance pertaining to football probably accounts for it

Birds in general seem to be hard to antrhopomorphize! (or at least for me, because I like keeping them as close to the original anatomy as I can)  I've toyed with the idea of a secretary bird character, and I've been so busy trying to sort everything else out that I haven't even addressed the teeth issue (then again, I don't exactly give him much to smile about, so might not be that much of a problem )

Indeed, bird's body plan is quite a problem for anthro-ing them. In fact, there was one time I anthromorphize a wyvern, and I decided to give him extra limbs so that he doesn't look too strange. I'll very likely do the same for birds for now.

(And yeah, I guess one way to avoid having to do something is to avoid having a reason to do so Or maybe because I'm a procrastinator extraordinaire )
