Description
First card of three of an ACEO trade I'm doing with Aishila
These are her two wolf characters, one who represents the dark side of the moon and the other who represents the bright side. I'm thinking I don't have to tell you which is which.
Anyway, I loved doing this. It taught me that coloring can be fun and hard at the same time. That fur was an absolute butt!! But it was a blast at the same time. Go figure. As I've had little to no experience coloring fur, I hope it looks alright. I actually doodled some wolves on another piece of paper and practiced coloring those first until I was confident enough that I wouldn't mess up the ACEO too badly. Also, black wolf is described as having fragments of stars in her fur, so I used sparkly glitter paint to achieve that affect. It kind of doesn't show up too well in the photo, but I promise it is there. Background supposed to represent the aurora that streams from white wolf's fur.
I hope you like it, Aishila , as well as anybody else who happens to take a look.
Two more cards to go!
