Description
You were sitting in a chair playing solitaire when you heard soft footsteps behind you. You didn't look behind you, you knew who it was already. "Hey L."

He 'hmm'ed in response. "What are you playing?"

"Solitaire." You answered.

You grabbed a cherry off the top of a cake you were eating, you had developed a liking for sweets when you started working with L to solve cases. After you ate the cherry part and thrown the seed away, you took the stem and tried to tie a knot in it with your tongue.

L stared at you. "What're you trying to do?"

You spoke with your teeth clenched because you were still trying to tie the cherry stem knot. "Tie a knot in a cherry stem with my tongue."

He looked at the other cherry sitting on your plate. He picked up the cherry, plucked off the stem and put it in his mouth. After a few moments he spat the cherry stem out and it had a perfect knot in it.

"Wh… but how?! How did you do that?!" You stared at him stupidly.

He shrugged back at you, expressionless. "Hey (y/n), I remember reading something that tying a cherry stem with your tongue meant something, but I forgot what. Do you remember?"

You thought for a moment, then you blushed. "U-uh I think it means you're a good k-kisser."

L sat down on a chair next to you and finished your abandoned solitaire game. "Is that so? Does that mean I'm a good kisser then?"

You looked away. "I-I don't know, L. How should I know?"

He finished the solitaire and put the cards into a neat little pile. "How? Like this."

You were about to ask what he meant when you felt a warm pair of lips against yours. You gasped in surprise, L took that chance to slip his tongue into your mouth. You blushed intensely, closing your eyes. L explored your mouth with his tongue, leaving nothing untouched.

He finally pulled away form your fiery red face after what felt like ages, but was probably seconds, a string of silvery saliva glinting in the light.

L, dare I say, smirked. "So was I?"

You cocked your head at his question. "Huh?"

L sighed. "I meant, was I a good kisser?"

You blushed again. "U-uh, yes! Y-you were!"

L smiled and walked away. "Good cause I like you (y/n)."

When he left you put a finger to your lips.

Did L really just kiss me? You thought to yourself.

Yes, yes he did.
