Amazing shot, I think you really are a deer caught in a human body lol, really great shot.

Thank you. I like your way of thinking. Some people think I hide deer costumes in my car and pay people to dress up like deer. Over the past few months I have built up the trust of the deer enough to snap a few images before they run off. It used to be they would just run off before I could capture an image.

That is great. Animals can sense things about people, so there must be something about you that lets them know they can trust you. I am always blown away by the shots you get.

I love how it looks like the mom is surprised or scolding you; the babies are adorable.

I was the one who was surprised, she was scolding me. A while back I came upon her when she was in labor. I left her alone, but kept going back to see the baby, well it turned out there where two. I took this photo and walked away to leave the family in peace.

It's cool that the deer seem to trust you, though; all the deer where I live run immediately when they see a human, because I live in redneck country where there are a lot of hunters.

Where IΒ photograph the deer no hunting is allowed. Makes me wonder what happens when the deer population gets too big.

They probably just relocate certain herds/pairs of deer when there get to be too many.

The land belongs to the city. I haven't seen park rangers in the area, just park police. Maybe I will have to ask around to find out.
