Not me who planned from the start to enter with an ENTIRELY different team. But you know, decided to do it the day before the deadline with a unreffed horse, just because WHY NOT.

And since I was a little bit late, why not experiment and not overthink things, so I hope you guys enjoy the unicorn-jizz clouds and me trying to use brushes for once.

VENUE ONE - Lindholm Hoje,Welcome to Lindholm Høje and the first venue of the Scandinavian Viking Tour! In early spring when nature just starts to blossom, the tour kick starts at this beautiful and old burial site in northern Denmark. Lindholm with is position by the Limfjord was an important gathering site during the Viking age and it’s believed that a lot of voyages to Britain and the rest of Europe started from here. But remember, story-wise this is a full eventing competition, and not a dressage competition.RULES, RESTRICTIONS AND CLASSESYou will yourself choose what level your horse and rider is competing at, from novice to advanced, and therefore age restrictions may vary along with what movements you can picture in your drawing. You can check out THIS guide if you are unsure about suitable levels and ages. The key rule though is that no advanced moves like passage and piaffe is present in Eventing.All entries will be judged as one class/level.The horses must be of a natural looking breed, fantasy colouring that might be explained with dye is permitted though. The riders must be human looking, but smaller features like elven ears that can be explained by plastic surgery is permitted.If you are unsure about your pair, ask!For guidelines regarding tack, clothing and movements you could draw for your entry, check THIS out. But I will give you a lot of freedom and you will not be disqualified for drawing a whip.In eventing a lot can happen, so drawing your horse misbehaving or your rider making an error will not cost you any points. However you might be disqualified from this event if you draw:A full fall of horse and/or rider OR horse jumping out of the arenaYour horse or rider getting (badly) hurt or ill somewhere at the competition groundsYour rider (in character) behaving badly towards other ridersGravely wrong picturing of discipline, season or locationArt rulesONE drawing where you draw the dressage phase Digital or traditional drawings are permitted (drawn animations as well) Minor photoparts, brushes and textures are permitted, but please use stock or your own Art must be done by you, but others may help with redlines etc. Collabs are allowed, but inform me beforehand how you want to split the prizes. Check the judging matrix to get a hunch of how much effort you should put into your entry and to get bonuses if you are in for winning!LOCATION AND RESOURCESFictionally, this competition run over four days with different levels and classes which means that you will have a lot of freedom over time of day and weather that you may draw. The important thing to remember is that the dressage arena is located just below the burial mounds and stones at Lindholm Høje. The arena is on grass and there are no stones within the actual arena. The weather can be a bit up and down with temperatures between 2-15 degrees celsius (35-59 Farhenheit). Over the days that the competition is held we will see both sunny and clear skies, to some drifting clouds, light rain and even a bit of light snow that melts when it reaches the ground. The competitions will be held from sunrise to sunset. After dark there will be no competitions as there are no floodlights.As you see you will have a lot of freedom with your entry! Focus will be on the vital basics in dressage and suitable both for eventers and dressage riders alike. After the tournament is over, Simon will appoint his favourite student and with entering the clinic you therefore have a chance to win this title and prizes.The clinic will be open to enter for the full tournament, so you don’t have to stress an entry for the deadline of this specific venue. Entering the clinic will give you tournament points as well. If you enter another horse than the one your rider enters in the competition, the tournament points will count towards your rider anyway. ... Too much of a dawn maybe. Alexa was never much of an early bird but sadly she had no power over the schedule nor the entrant list, which surely forced her to wake up earlier than she'd ever wished to prepare her mare. Another dawn in a way as it was the first real outing with this mare other than casual and training shows but they surely needed to start building this new eventing team somewhere else than home turf. How odd was it though to put back on a short coat again for a dressage test, most of her current mares were past that step and it felt as if something was truly lacking in the outfit. Needless to say too that signing up in a novice class felt just as off but it was surely for the best.
