I am currently learning japanese and the kanji for day/sun 日 is pronounced hi (he) but when it get placed with another kanji to make another word like 日本 (nihon) it turns into ni which is confusing to me.

if you don't know japanese I am just saying e as in confused.

I wanna try and make mini comic or even just a series kinda of me practicing and learning japanese.
