this was supposed to be for the su60 minutes thing on friday but i only got the sketch donea few things:
- i hate experimeting with color
- i will never do this again
- by the time i finished i didnt want to do a background
- im dying
ALSO her hands spell out "Opal" in sign language because im uncreative and i know theres like 5,000 images that already look like this

I think it works without a background, maybe just faint blue, but wow this deserves more views and such...
I've actually never seen the 'sign language Opal' thing before, unless the creators just haven't mentioned it...but that's actually a very good idea and I think you pulled it off very well here!! Well done! *throws gold star stickers*

omg this is so nice! i dont know what to say
i made this last spring right around the time when opal was introduced and i saw people doing like...odd hand gestures and things with her multiple arms and hands. and i really wanted to draw her to! but i couldnt think of any ideas other than what i had already seen so thats where this came from.

hands are something i really have a hard time with and its so encouraging to hear what you have to say, not just about my hands but also all the other aspects of my work that you have commented on! i am very grateful for your kind words, as i have lately been feeling really bad about my art.
