This is my latest attempt at realism... Still sorting out many things. the hair, the skin and his outfit.... This guy is the prince from Final Fantasy Versus XIII. His name is Noctis Lucis Caelum.Im working on Stellar and shotgun guy...too. They will be around Noctis..
I try to make him smile... still working on it.

May I ask, which programs you normally use for making all of your realism pictures?

Wow simply photoshop? Amazing. I thought you used you know like sophisticated programs like LightWave or 3D Studio MAX.
So you basically draw the picture by hand and then scan it and then doddle it with Photoshop?
(I'm curious because I want to make realistic pictures similar to yours one day.)

I only know how to draw... I also not familiar with the 3D program... But i want to learn, it may make the art more easier to do.
Ya, need to sketch it first to have the outline. Then paint it. Start with basic colouring and then paint it in layer to give more volume.... I have around 20 layers.

Well drawing is good. (just that I dont have a scanner at home). I prefer to draw. Its just that I now see really good stuff when using computers.
