Tuneless Telephone (Year of Silence)

Time for the T with this new D-Dev. The second title is a Crystal Castles' music, incorporating Icelandic Sigur Ros's lyrics. Those lyrics were in mind while drawing this...maybe it's why it became a strange looking drawing

So the theme here is about friendship as Sigur Ros sings, a kind of link that can't be broken. When you know you can count on someone. But unfortunately as life goes those links tend to vanish. And new ones are made afterwards. Here I felt like I wanted to draw the opposite. When the loss of this link is still not filled by another one. I guess everyone already had this once when you that you haven't see someone for a year...and feeling he/her doesn't really care.

Well... don't worry it won't be a moody drawing cause all of this is pure nature ! Friendship can take many shapes, at different times. If it's true that true unbreakable friendship is rare - good opportunities are numerous. All will depends on you and yourself because true friends will like you for who you are. And without being yourself (as a telephone with the cable cut ) you won't be able to let them come to you.
