Description This is an American Indian Chief I sketched a while back. His calm dignity was striking to me, and I wanted to capture it in my piece. I don't know his identity, but I believe this might be Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce.

I used a reference photo from the internet, but unfortunately, I can't remember who I got it from. If anybody recognizes this, please note me, so I can give credit to the source.

Lastly, sorry for the rather poor quality of the photo; it's quite hard to take good pictures of graphite pieces, and this was the best shot I could get so far.

Very good work my friend...I am half Apache and he is not Apache...he could be Nez Pierce but like the Apache they usually let their hair flow naturally...again fine work...
