Inspired by a piece by Marek Okon in ImagineFX magazine (his is painted, and much better)...but I wanted a try at painting snow and icicles, as well as illustrating a story that I'm working on.Poser, Cinema4D and Photoshop.

I am with what Katarzyna said but your piece is not short of mood by any means. It's a great piece. I really like the clothes on the humans and the bulky shapes of the Aliens/Robots. And you can definitely feel the tension, too.

Thanks...Kinda forgotten about this one. In retrospect I can see now that there's so much more I could have done with it. Maybe I'll go back to it at some point.

I saw the original by Marek Okon. His works are gorgeus. Every detail is "as meant to be". Your drawing is very good to.. you're aiming high and that's great. I remember Okon added some cold breath near mouths of the main character and that is something you're character lacks. The picture is great but the one thing I miss is the feeling of freezing cold. Technical things are great but you have to work on the mood.
