Richard Avedon took the photo that inspired this drawing when this violet eyed actress was ill with a 102* fever.I haven't drawn pearls since, I don't think, because they suck to draw, beeing so pearly and translucent.
My first Elizabeth drawing was done in freehand with graphite.
