Just felt like drawing on something other than those tiny sketch cards. This was supposed to be an exercise to see if I could draw Heath Ledger's Joker without looking at reference... hence the lack of resemblance. It was fun, back to drawing cards...8" x 10" pencil on bristol

Yeah, me too. I've only gotten about 10 done, and about 15 penciled. If it weren't for the ice storm that left us without power for almost a week, and then the bad thunderstorms and high winds that came through last night and knocked out power again, I'd be OK!!!!!!!!! Oh well. I got 7 weeks to go. I can do it. At least I don't have 150 to do anymore, just 100.

Wow the power issues suck! Yea, I'm in the same boat as you... I started with 150 + 50 from another set... now I'm down to the 100 with 7 weeks left... it's a sprint to the finish! Very exciting isn't it... I can't wait to see what you and everyone else produces for this set!

Well, I'm still struggling to get these done. But they will get done! I'm working in a production line fashion now, and it's helping out a bunch! Concepts and penciling now, and then after next week, it's color color color! LOL! Not as much thinking in the color process for me. LOL! The concept and pencil phase is so frustrating sometimes! Coming up with the right pose, composition and such drives me insane sometimes! Sometimes I get a complete brain block and it takes hours for one card, and sometimes it's only a few minutes and it's ready for color! GRRR!!!
Yeah, I can't wait to see what everyone else does as well.

Same story with me... sometimes it will just flow and I'll knock out cards back to back to back... then other times I'll struggle sooo much to just get one done, and still hate it when I finish... it's a royal pain!

I'm having several days on a row of not getting anything accomplished. I've only gotten 3 more cards penciled and one colored in the past 2 days.
I'm actually beginning to get disgusted!! Hope this only lasts through today and that's it!

Every artist works differently... I find that these cards are coming in waves... one night before last I knocked out 5 cards in a row, from concept to color... then yesterday, I couldn't get any finished... today i had to work my real job... so here's hoping tomorrow is extra productive (i really need it to be)

I'm down to only getting 50 done. THANK GOD!!! But it's because I've got to find a new place to live by the middle of next month!! GRRRR!!
I just hope that things will go smoother with the next set. I'm sure it will since I'll have this first experience under my belt.

Yeah! Only 9 more to pencil! but I already have them planned, and then I ought to be able to start coloring on Monday, Tuesday latest! YAY!! And I can safely say I can knock out 2 colors a day. I am almost afraid to say that it's smooth sailing from here on out. LOL!
