I'd prefered the real doctor with Rose. But this is a nice compremice for her.

I'm glad she ended up with the human Doctor. She knew the Doctor didn't want to be with her because he couldn't spend the rest of his life with her. The human one can.

Yeah, it was a kind of sacrifice for the Doctor because he couldn't give her what she wanted. Human Doctor could.

That's the only thing I didn't like about the ending. Rose got what she wanted. The Doctor didn't. He ended up alone, as usual. That never sat well with me. Ten never really got his happy ending.

Indeed. I still haven't forgiven the writers for being so mean to 10. The Master dies in his arms because he hates The Doctor, Rose gets trapped in another universe, Martha does nothing but bitch about how The Doctor won't love her, Donna loses all of her memories of him, and Rose ends up with his clone. Of all the Doctors, 10 really didn't deserve ANY of this.

the master dieing on him was really sad indeed! Martha shouldn't have fallen in love with the Doctor. at least not the way and when it happened. After Rose it was to expected that the Doctor wouldn't respond to it.. Ever. Storywise, emotion wise. They better had put Donna in between those two seasons. Ten didn't only lost them, but was not given the oppertunity to go back when they were older just to say hello (like he did with Jo and Sarah Jane). Rose wouldn't know him, because she only exists in the part where she hadn't met him. Martha... okay she would. Donna can't remember.

Why did the BBC hate 10 so much? That's the only explanation for what happened to him.

Well... Not the BBC. But probably Davies. Or it was his idea of getting him into the Timelord Victorious he always wanted to turn him into. And if someone with a recent past like Ten doesn't turn into Victorious, I'd say I'd eat my hat

I just wanted 10 to be happy. Only time he was really happy was Season 2 with Rose. And Season 4 with Donna ... sometimes.

Indeed. That's why I liked Nine. He was dark, but happy. Ten was more pretending to be happy maybe.

Well, if you were depressed all the time, you'd go nuts. Sometimes you just gotta pretend to be happy. He only started to pretend after Rose left.
'Course, I'm biased. I love the RoseXDoctor pairing so I'm more inclined to thinmk that he was the best thing to happen to him.

Yeah, The Rose/Doctor pairing for me is just THE best pairing Ever. So when those two part it was really really sad already. But manageable because I understood why it had to happen (we can't have the doctor clinging to Rose and therefor the story getting more of the same). But ten did go through a lot of horror that I hope never to face.

Yeah indeed! it's so sad. I wonder how much this situation had changed him into what he became in The Waters of Mars.

Me too. It's sad. At one point it's all happy, cuz she kinda got what she wanted. But it's also sad because it was not really 'The One' she wanted. Only part of it.

Glad I'm not alone. I guess she kind of got the better part of the deal
really, considering she got the human Doctor but that also meant no
time travel which she loved also. It was just a sad moment.

Well.. at least she got part of what she wanted. it's not like Doomsday; being all alone without even a part of the doctor. Now she had a doctor that reminded their adventures, only he'd some characteristics of Donna and he's human. And they might not travel through tme and space anymore... but they got something to grow a TARDIS didn't they? (eventhough that was an deleted scene, but it's kind of canon, right?)

I thought it was a piece of the TARDIS? Hmm... I do know what you're talking about though.

yeah it was a piece of the tardis to grow a tardis on its own. Like some plants you can cut pieces off. Plant it and it will grow a new plant.
