Description I was just playing aroung with carbon burning. Most commonly known in "horse hair" but I use primarily feathers and scrap twine and other items.

Really, it's a good way to recyle in ways...

Thank you! I believe it originated in the southwest US when a native indians hair fell on one of her hot pots and it burned into the pot. I see a lot of horse hair pots done this way, but I just burn random things with feather and hair on the pots and add acid to random pieces. Anything that burns out carbon quickly works, vertually anything easily burnt.
