Well, took me long enough, but here's Argenteum, the silver dragon. I pretty much redrew this guy over the original sketch, only using the neck scales from the original. It took alot longer than I'd have liked it to, I'm guessing 4-6 hours or so collectively, but I guess alot of that was just messing around with different ideas and backtracking a few times. The only thing I don't like about this sketch is the ugly stripes I messed up on. I wanted it to have stripes, but I didn't do a very good job on them, so I'll just have to keep working on that, heheh.Enjoy!!

I've looked at all of the dragon heads you've done so far and they're all blindingly good but I do have a couple of questions about them. They all seem to have a simmilar pose and face shape yet they are all individual. Do you think you'll do complete shots of them or would that be too complicated? What are these dragons from? A story? A game? (I only started watching recently so I don't know for certain.)
Anyway, they're all beatiful.

They are all my original designs, and I drew them similar because I wanted them to seem more relative and didn't give much thought to radically different designs. Thinking back on it I think I should have made them a bit more different and will likely alter some of the designs in later pictures, which brings me to the other question. Yes, I do plan on doing artwork with their full bodies in the future, though I know not how long it will be before I have the time for it, with school and work and friends taking up alot of my time now...but I'll try to keep up with things. I love the detail and the coloring >^.=.^< The scales in particular are especially well done. Also, the way you did the whiskers on this dragon is rather unique. I like this approach. Great pic!

Thx, I tried to be a bit different in the style on this one, so I tried coloring it a few different ways. Some parts are a bit more solid than others though so to me it looks a bit wierd in some places, but I'll fix that next time...

yea, I guess the stripes aren't so bad, but they aren't as defined and bold as I originally intended, so I think from now on I'm gonna take a slightly more illustrative style so it'll be easier to do stuff like that.
