I know I haven't uploaded anything in quite a while, and that's mainly because I haven't done anything. At least nothing that I can or would want to show. But lately, I've been getting back into doing warmup coloring, aka just taking random sketches off the web and coloring them for the hell of it. I find that it's definitely important to do art just for fun every now and then, so that it doesn't turn into a boring job routine (which kills the motivation for me).Also it's a great way to just try shit out and experiment. I still think I'm way too slow so I'm trying to up my speed as well, which up to now I haven't succeeded in doing (these were all between 1 and 2 hours each).
So yeah, I didn't feel like uploading every piece individually here, so I just put them all into one piece. If you want to take a look at a bigger version (which I kind of recommend since none of these have anything to do with each other, and should actually stand alone) then check this [link] .

are you using the wacom brushes? the painter is a painter wacom ave you with the table?

I didn't know wacom brushes existed.
I use mostly default Photoshop brushes (and that's the program I use, Photoshop CS, it didn't come with the tablet), allthough I have some custom brushes; some homemade, some downloaded off the internet. But in this case I used mostly the default hard edged round Photoshop brush.

The one with the gun is Philly the Kidd, a character from LeSean Thomas's upcoming OGN "CannonBusters".

whoa monk, ur coloring, is seriously super impressive.i always get frustrated when i see such talented colorists such as urself and zhuzhu, that make digital painting look ssoooo incredible, n i cant even pull it off.its sooo disheartening, cause i really feel like when it comes to color im trully blocked, without a vision at all.

I didn't like the Tycho sketch as much, personally. I mean I still thought it was cool, but to color I preferred this one.
