i'm not big on a lot of the glorifing suicide art i see floting around here sometimes but i really like the style, it kinda reminds me of a cross between JtHM and Bear if you have ever read those comics

This is really dynamic. It has the perfect capture of the final moment before you die. Everything is so relaxed and clear, yet tragically chaotic. His expression really shows it. Nice work.

i enjoy this concept alot. there's something very dramatic, and alluring with all the thoughts that are hanging on by the foot as he slips out of them.. and falls to his beautiful death, away from all the bad, and into a peaceful slumber. Just hauntingly wonderful! beautiful!

Speeking as some one who has had six previous near-death experiences, I would like to note that there is precious little peace to be had from death. Usually just a bunch of screaming people and meat-wagons.

hmm, very perceptive Spooky. I would certainly agree with you on both accounts in relation to observing life from different perspectives, and you're right. Life IS more interesting after 'scaping tragedy. Sorry if I offended anyone with my previous posting by the way. I had merely wished to address this growing trend I see amongst artists wherein perfectly decent humans develop this abnormal fascination with death and decay, simply because their own lives have lost some kind of meaning. I blame the Ego.
True though it is that an interest in death IS natural, but only because mortality and suffering is meant to make us better appreciate our own existence. When you begin to romantize death for the mere sake of the morbid, then you're missing the point. Clearly though, that was not the case here.

it's more like the romantic idea of the poetry thats in motion in the image here. I'm not saying that death is an answer, just responding to an image embracing a darker side to life. You'll find that some people will find beauty in tragedy.. but appreciate life just as equally. I've fought with my own demons in life and can relate to these feelings, but found that when it was all said and done there was light at the end of the tunnel. To fully appreciate life, you have to see it from both sides, good and bad.
I'm sorry to hear that you have had so many near death experiences. But after.. did you feel alive and appreciate it more after? Not being mean here.. just curious. I'd assume so. Happy to see you made it through each.

I like the way you personificated his toughts like monsters, sometimes we are all like that, the most sublime action can turn a beautiful rose into a rotten fruit, full of verminoses...
I apreciatted that touch of adding a frame to the story, and the way somethings go thru that border are simply genious...
Drugs can be a big problem in some peoples life, they distort the reality to a whole different level..
We are the beggining and the end of ourselves, we are the lords of terror and destruction and the conscient creators...
We are living paradoxes...

i know a kid like that but he hides it all and hes very buddy buddy to everyone, and he tells about his problems and they all feel bad for him. in the end he ends up doing drugs when he isnt surrounded byu his friends at school and he makes drugs look like an undersatndable answer to his home problems... i hate him
