3rd attempt at painting a forest. These are really fun but I'm not sure that they're getting any better

Nice, beats me recent attempt at a forrest.
Not related to the forrest, but did you try making the snow flakes slightly sillouetted too, like the trees. I remember being struck as a child that looking up at snow it appears alomost black, realising snowflakes have shadows too.Interested to know if it would work or just look wrong.

Haven't been able to try. I'd need a reference, there's no snow where I live haha.

I searched t'internets and I can't find a single picture that shows what I mean... perhaps it has to be in a country as overcast as England. I'll get back to you in about 6 months
