How did you get your lines so thin? I can never get the outlines like that so that they don't look ugly and thick... I know it takes practice to make smooth lines and also how do you get your pics at such a high quality?

Uh, I use the ink pen tool at size 6, with around 50% opacity.
Once drawn and colored, the canvas is shrunk down to 2/3 of its original size or 1/2 if need be.
Then, the line art is Opacity Locked and colored over using lighter colors.

Well, as a mascot, she would get around quite a lot. Just look at Hatsune Miku as another good example. Mirai is nowhere near as popular as other such mascots though. Was rather surprised to find her on buses though XD
That said, I wish I was over there. Danny is an inspiration for what he does in terms of informing people about Japanese culture, but he is really bad at getting the reach of his company to extendΒ much further than Asia. The website isn't really enough, and for us outside of Asia, getting the channels he does shows for is really, really difficult.
