He's just looking for a playmate, but you won't like his games.This was really fun to draw. All the swirly-ness n' stuff... it's crazy. I wasn't sure it'd turn out that great, but I like it (a rather rare occasion).
The skull kids were always a mystery to me. From what I gather, they are either regular kids or Kokiri who got lost in the Lost Woods (go figure) and ended up turning into lonely creatures. I always thought they were creepy. I wouldn't turn my back on one, but that's just me. <.<

this skull kid is better then the ones with fat lips or a beak...that kinda ruined it, but oh well, shoot..i'd probably make friends with the whole lots of em'....their soo darn cute! i'd fit in with them and be happy to stay forever!! X3

It's really a shame skull kids weren't designed this way. They would be so much more intimidating and pose a bit more of a threat. But maybe that's the point, that they don't look fearsome, they're really just kids after all. But regardless, I really like the more edgy perspective you took on this skull kid, it's a refreshing change.

There is something about the children by the tree when you enter the moon. The Majora mask weaing kid is lonely and bitter. I read somewhere, wish I could remember now,something about a tribe(general or specific,real or not) that encourages identification for children, a sort of manifested essence of themselves as they become adults. Majoras mask may have been the creation of a child identifying with only negative things from his bad experiences with people growing up.

I don't know, they seem to be immortal like korki but don't look much like them, or normal children for that matter. But they look more like natural born imps considering how their made out of sticks and leaves.
I have no idea if there is such a thing as a natural born imp but the idea I'm trying to get across is they were always imps.

Ever read the Oot Manga? Kinda explains it in there. All I know is, you either become a Stalfos, or a skull kid. :/

Actually Between my last comment and now I went to check what it says in the game. Skull Kids are children who were lost in the woods while adults turn into Stalfos which is kind of morbid if you think about it.
I didn't know their was a manga though, do you know where I could find it? It maybe the first manga that I don't point and laugh at.

Yup, and one for Majora's Mask, which adds a little history to the origins of the mask, which is kinda cool. Try Zelda Universe or something. I'm not sure exactly where I got it, but it was the first manga I've read, and they have a bunch of others for Four Swords, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and even A Link to the Past (rather old and cheesy). All I know is the Windwaker one made me bust a gut laughing. XD
