Jan. Flock-Together Feature - Bird People
We are bird people - we like birds! A lot of people donβt realize the joy that living with a bird can bring to their life, but we do. So as a pet birds group, it's only fitting and proper that we start off the new year with a showcase of beautiful, loving, intelligent creatures and their equally amazing human companions.
You may be a bird person if:
- You have makeshift "play gyms" all over the house
- Your water cup becomes theirs because they want to drink out of it
- You have bite marks on your monitor, your shoelaces, and all your pens
- There's bird seed / pellets all over your floor (no mater how often you sweep)
- Every time you get an apple (or some other kind of fruit or food), you cut it up small and give some to the birds first before you even get a chance to eat any
- You are forbidden to take

Yup. Heh. They're very sweet, too... most of the time, they just kind of don't care if I touch them. They let me pick them up, whatever. If they squirm, I just put them back on their perch. (Unless it was to check their wing or something of that like...) What is your budgie like?

I have 7 budgies now 
But my old budgie (the one in the picture) was really really tame... I could lay on my bed sleeping, he was sitting next to me sleeping, too. I could also touch him and stroke his head

That is such a sweet little bird! I know my SnugglePuff will do similar, though she is flighted... she also likes taking naps under blankets... a fluffy yellow cuddler.

(It's fine, the term isn't used often) It means the bird CAN fly and doesn't have its wings clipped.
It is. She's a very sweet little bird! If I try taking her out of the cage, she... dives down my shirt or comes right to my chest.
Awww!! Like a baby budgie! Mister Sweatervest (Snyeg or Snow Baby, my blue budgie) will lie on his belly in people's hands. He still acts like a little baby bird for some reason.
