Yes, I immediately fell in love with that overconfident prick for a villain as soon as he appeared in Sonic Universe! I am so hoping to see his story continued one day!
The dynamic he and Shadow share is so deep! Eclipse is literally the only villain who didn't immediately want Shadow dead and he's also the only bad guy who gave him a second chance. Then there was also the fact that Eclipse is pretty much all about family. Not many villains are like him. X3

Eclipse is a character from Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics. As i remember he appeared in Sonic Universe 59-62 and 66-69
But there was no such moment. It's just my imagination)
