may I ask if you depended on a photo reference and how do you usually take the measurements?

Thank you! I am glad you like my work! I ussually have a photo reference, but draw from life sometimes as well. When measuring I start out by drawing the forehead (to about the eye) and then I use that as a measuring tool. Everything else on the drawing is measured using that one small part.
