Gorgeous. Walked through it today and it looked nothing like that! But they may have been because I was covered in rain, sweat and attempting to lug huge art folders around!

Thank you very much Eliza, it was early on a Sunday morning with not many people around and I wasn't wet and sweaty

Ahh lucky you. I'm envious. I never get to walk around the city just taking photos, should make an effort to go in one day and take my camera while leaving the folders at home! Beautiful work at any rate

I really like this one better than the other--mainly because the vertical shot gives a grander sense of height and scale. Nice work on the HDR processing too. This is the type of shot I would expect to see the 'grunge' effect applied--and it would work well too, but I like your more sublte take on it

Thanks mate, this is my favourite shot too. The vertical does the building more justice

Very interesting rendition of this magnificent building. I had the chance to visit it myself in 2008 and it's really difficult to capture the beauty of the building. Too bad I didn't have my ultra wide angle lens yet back then. Maybe I'll get another chance some day.

It's interesting how different the vertical and horizontal view feel when comparing them. I couldn't tell which one I like more.

Thank you. I prefer the vertical view myself. It really is a magnificent building though

such places are difficult to photograph, as you have said, not encouraged... have you tried hand-held RAW, redoing 3- exp, then HDR as an alternative ... *Punkdiva seems to do OK, see here [link] with such ... with AEB/tripod atracts a lot of unrequired "attention" in my experience, and "ghosting" gets to be prob with movement, eg people ... anyway, its a wonderful result ...

No, I haven't tried the hand held versions yet. The ghosting people don't really bother me that much but I may end up cloning the pieces of people out

Glad that you liked it and thanks for the

I envy you!
In Trieste (Italy) you're not allowed to take puctures in public places like this one!
This shot is amazing Malcom! I love it!

Thank you very much Cristina. Don't tell anyone but we aren't supposed to be taking the photos in there, especially using a tripod!
