Amazing scene!  I am a big fan of watching storms off the coast of a beach, especially ones that happen towards the twilight hours of nightfall, and the clouds you portrayed in this picture have plenty of atmosphere and mood to them! Very well done mate.  I love the feelings expressed here.

Thanks. Actually working in monochrome is easier since you substract any worries about saturation, temperature, etc... Most of the time I start in monochrome and add color once I'm mostly sure about my values since these will remain the same no matter the color I decide to apply.

Wow, I guess that is true because whenever I "draw" a scene thats so complex like for example this, I hate how every thing looks wrong and how the water shouldn't be that bright or that dull or how the sand is too saturated or pale xD

Having an internal dialogue is important. As I improved I noticed that becoming more self-aware helps a lot. That said you also have to be patient. Don't be so hard on yourself if something looks odd just leave the piece alone for a while and study that detail that is troubling you.
