Soo far I think you're doing it right. As far as what I know about the character. If I was to go more into it. There might be some things you might want to consider when doing a transformation sequence again. This indeed shows how kale changes, but it's a matter to you that if you like this sequence? Is this how you want the sequence to go every time he changes? Will it be comfortable for you to draw everytime you do it? For now, *even though this is definitely a lot better than my tester change for gyp/crimson in my opinion* this seems to run as an awesome tester to start with. I say finish it off and decide if the transformation sequence is right. If not, make note of adjustments you need to make feel not only right to you, but for the character as well. I don't know much of the character itself as a whole. I will tell you the truth after the comic I made "Cursed Moon" I worked on Crimson's transformation 2 times before I got it to where I like it and used it in many practice images. I guess that's my advice to you. In the end, you might as well play around with your character to get a feel of who he is.
