Harry's all good and all, but I wouldn't have saved Draco.

I asked that question over a year ago. My opinions have changed and I would've saved Harry

I cried after re-reading this scene. Not because of Crabbe's death, but because of all those lost treasures and world changing documents that were most likely burnt to ash.

I love this. This scene in the movie and the book almost scared me to death. ... For Draco, not Crabbe or Goyle or anyone else.

Wow. Love your style. The fire looks awesome and Harry looks very determined despite Draco. lol. I liked this scene quite a bit. I need to read the seventh book over again O.O

I faved this, not only for the epic scene & art, but also for the alternative titles.

Love it! And yeah, Crabbe is an idiot. And actor!Crabbe was enough of an idiot to get busted for drugs and cut out of movie 7.

Poor Draco xD; he's always so sad...
Literally, every time the Malfoys came on screen during the movie, all I could picture was a demotivational poster: THE MALFOY FAMILY does not want to do this anymore.
And I KNEW I couldn't be the only person who wanted to see this scene! >w< Because I AM so inclined that way~

Lol, yeah, Crabbe was pretty stupid. I felt bad for Draco having his friends betray him like that. And Draco yelling at Crabbe not to kill Potter when Crabbe tried to Crucio him really made me wonder - did he see someone die by Crucio? Ick.
Draco almost looks like he's crying. He even grieved for Crabbe later.
I love the fire - it makes me jealous. All the creatures in the fire! And the burning stuff is amazingly done!

That's excellent. I love how you drew the shapes of the animals within the fire. And yes, Crabbe was an idiot. I agree completely with that statement.

You know I didn't even think of it until I say this. The fire also destroyed Snape's old potion book that Ginny and Harry hid in there.

Ginny didn't go with Harry to hide the book... The movies are not canon.

No worries.
I agree though, Snape's book that Harry hid in The Room of Requirement would have been torched. It's kinda sad. When I was reading the book I hoped Harry would go back for it and keep it for future reference. But then Crab went and cast Fiend's Fire... the idiot.

Well Crab will always be an idiot for using magic beyond his own control. Besides in a school format, I don't really think that the book was really twisting Harry in any way (maybe his ego a bit). It it just a really sad piece of Severus to lose.

katiepox In reply to Zougeiro [2010-05-05 06:34:51 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, the book definitely wasn't hurting or 'twisting' anyone or anything. I really wish Harry had been able to keep it, it's sad that it's gone... I don't really think there's anything left of Snape that we know of (besides, of course, Harry naming his youngest child after him.)
