32x26, Acrylic on canvas. This was my final painting project based on a picture of a sunset I took in Maui [view picture ].I knew since my style tends to be more impressionistic that I would not be able to re-create it exactly, so I settled on interpreting it. I am proud of the result--the picture does no justice to the colors of this painting. Even my professor declared it finished, quite high praise coming from him.
