Funny that Maud says she failed because by my count she did not.Β Maud did not compliment Trixie for sex but to do it to show she cares for her which she did.Β The fact that Trixie decides to use that as an excuse fore sex is not the fault of Maud nor should that be seen as a bad thing.Β Still makes for a funny joke.
Perhaps Pinkie should show off how to do nice things for her significant other though I forget if she has one in this comic.Β Someone like Rainbow Dash or even a Twilight could help show what she is trying to say.

If you mean all the scratches, that's apparently scars from her refusing to use a pickaxe. She rips riches from the earth's grasp with her bare hooves. That's also why she's so ripped.
