Wow, this a different feel for you. It has such a strong 3D quality. Go to the dark side once in awhile! This is GREAT!I swear I can almost see a figure in the clouds.....

Thank you!! Sometimes I really just have to go into a creative zone that is totally different than the normal one I follow. I actually love darker art like this, when it's done right.

Here is the song that inspired it. I was listening to it while I made this: [link]

And maybe there is a figure in there... heheheh

It strikes me as a gothic interpretation of Magritte. I like.

Thank you so much!! I love delving into stuff like this now and then. I usually prefer very colorful artwork, but find it a wonderful challenge to work with art in subdued, almost monochromatic tones.

I simply love all of your artwork this is a nice change I am sure its a challenge due to how comfortable it must be to work with vibrant colors. You do it very well

Thank you sweety!! I love throwing out 'curve balls' like this. Nobody ever expects it from the girl who has rainbows in her veins. LOL

I've been hanging on to the stock photo of the violin player for weeks now, just waiting for the right inspiration. I was looking through old pictures of our trip to England, and voila - the rooftops suddenly sparked the idea, and I ran with it.

I love surprising people with unexpected works like this. And that song is just so....phenomenal. I could create ten portraits inspired by it, and still never really tap into the entire feel of the song. But I'm so happy this one shines with a little of that.
