Some people like it better when it's PMD, not X. I now I do, because some models are written in Japanese, or don't have anyhing written for each bone.

I was about to say no, but then I checked my start menu. I have it! I never used it, but I have it, lol. I must have downloaded it a long time ago for something then forgot about it. Can I use it to convert MMD video files to something I can watch with WMP?

For me it works to upload avi.files and if you save as a movie, not a project, it should be able to work

Well, it worked when I saved a short test walking sequence, about 100 frames. I then played Miku walking in WMP, and it worked fine though a little choppy (but that's probably because my old 'puter isn't powerful enough to do motion rendering). But when I saved a longer video, WMP told me it's not a valid AVI file that I tried to run. I denno...

if you go to camera/lights/accessories and in accessory manipulation a button says load click that and in the folder it opens there should be an accesory that says negi and that's the leek

It's in a folder called accessories

Fredashay In reply to FoxKitsune123 [2012-09-08 02:22:33 +0000 UTC]

Same problem here. I try to load from accessories in MMD, but there's no file called negi.pmd or negi.pmx. If I go into Windows Explorer into the accessories folder, I can see several files called negi(left).vac, negi(right).vac, negi.bmp, and negi.x. When I try to load any of them, MMD says "This file is not for Polygon Movie Maker!!" MMD is looking for either a Model file, .PMD or .PMX.

FoxKitsune123 In reply to Fredashay [2012-09-08 02:35:34 +0000 UTC]

it's called negi.x and you have to go to the accessories folder, open it with the load accessories button in camera/lights/accessories

Hope that helped

I know. I still can't get it to save as a video. Sure, it'll render to .AVI file, but when I try to play the file WMP says the files aren't correct. I know lots of people post TY videos made by MMD, so there must be a way to do it...

Do you have windows live movie maker?

Fredashay In reply to FoxKitsune123 [2012-09-08 02:50:33 +0000 UTC]

Yes! Thanks! I got it Maybe I'm using a different version of MMD than you. I got it to load by clicking on the load button on the accessory manipulation area. It showed up right there in the file list as negi.x and loaded fine. But when I use the load button after selecting camera/light/accessory, it doesn't show up and MMD only wants to load .PMD or .PMX files.

I meant the accessory manipulation tab in camera/lights/accessory
not to just press load. Sorry I guess I didn't explain that part very well. Anyway, I am glad I helped

Yeah, mmd was hard for me to use the first time I got it. Then when I discovered you had to register frames i was like, , how come I couldn't figure something out that was right in front of my face.
