Graphite on Bristol w/Buckets of FunThis is for my buddy, Dan... for ARGO5
Dedicated to the Memory of my buddy, Pat Carlucci.
Pat may no longer be with us,
but he is certainly not forgotten.
His legacy lives on in his swanky creations,
and here is hoping I did them some justice in the process.
If he could see this today...
my hope is that he would be pleased.

This is amazing man! Incredible detail, definitely cool to see amongst all of your pin-up art. your characters look awesome, but your background is pretty sweet too. Awesome job, man! Looks like you put a lot of time into it.

I've actually done some work for Dan too, so I know the Argo5 cast pretty well - I'm actually embarrassed now, because you've done them so much better than I did!

Working on She-Dragon was a total blast, one would think that alone should be rewarding enough... but it does not compare to how great it feels to hear folks enjoyed the end results. I really appreciate the kind words, HEAVEN.
If you enjoyed that book, you might enjoy the project I have in the works ...its feeling exactly the way it did when I was working on that Special. Hopefully you will enjoy the end results of this one as well. Feels good to be doing sequentials again.

Very Cool piece Franchesco! I only met Pat at the Philly cons but he was a very nice guy. He reminded me of Mike Weringo,the way he drew.

Glad you had a chance to meet Pat, TOMBO. Yep how bout it? He was a very nice guy... and it blows my mind that you mentioned 'Ringo in the same sentence... may he rest in peace as well. Not sure if you know or not... Mike and Pat were friends, and they were both taken way too soon. Really good guys with tons of class and buckets of talent. I'm glad to have met them, and happy to count them among my friends.
Small world: Mike Wieringo honored me with his interpretation of my character Xstacy (the girl in the upper left-hand corner in the skin tight latex and stiletto heels) And its one of my prized possessions, and so fun to have jammed with him on it. (he penciled it, I inked it) Good times!!!

Hello DEREK... thanks for the compliment on the pic. Correct, there are characters in there created by Pat and owned by Pat's Estate. (The hulking Devil villain guy, the girl in the upper right-hand corner in the Witch's hat, and the girl in the lower right-hand corner with the claws coming out of her feet.)
The majority of the other main characters are created/owned by the awesome Dan Sehn... and the others are created/owned by me... Franchesco! Dan and I go way back... and I'm grateful the opportunity presented itself where he and I could jam on something together after all these years.
I am flattered and honored you would want to see me take a shot at some of your babies some day. Sounds like fun, my hope is that it wont be years and years until that happens, my friend.

I'd want to, but it'd depend on my having to save up enough money, and on whether you'd want to draw nudity. My superheroine team IS called The Bush League for a reason.

I totally hear you buddy... true that... money don't grow on trees... and those cool books on your X-mas list are not gonna just buy themselves. Plus food and shelter is always a plus.
For the record: I have no problem with nudity, nekidness rulez... its my future clients who may have a problem with that... but oh well... if that's the way the cookie crumbles, than that's the way the cookie crumbles. I am gonna do what I am gonna do.
Who knows... maybe one day, my friend... it could happen.
