Description Here is the 'wire frame' for the "Candelora" cover done up old-school with Graphite on Bristol Board; and tinted using PhotoShop.

She was a lot of fun to draw... and I'm grateful the client allowed me complete creative freedom in its construction. Nothing else feels quite the way it does, when we allow the pencil to go where it wants to --when we're pushing it around a blank sheet of paper.

It was a treat-- and I look forward to more of the same, in the near future.

Apparently greatly inspired by the works of Alphonse Mucha, who brought us the revolution known as Art Nouveau.

looks nice in just line. How do you Ink? it almost seems like youve taken a fountain pen or at least a chiseled marker to it. Very smooth transition from thin to think. I'm mpressed to say the least.

Hey Bro! I gotta tell ya... altho you are a pro of great understanding... I just love your work man. I REALLY wish I could get together with ya and create a tutorial of how you draw for people. Just so the world can marvel at your process like the rest of us do lol.

I'd have to say that you've helped give me a goal to shoot for in art and this business and telling me not to give up was something I needed to hear bro!

As for this piece Fresco... Awesome. The lines are fluid and the thing I love so much about it and all your work is, you don't have to be all these silly extra lines into your work to define something. Simplistic in a way and yet... darn near impossible to understand how you drew it lol It's a great talent man...

I think this is beautiful. I love the way you have contained her as the center of focus by thickening some lines in her hair, neck, shoulders, breasts, side, hip, knees, calf, along one wrist and up the sword handle, and the beautiful eyes. Masterful Piece.
