"Norm", Watercolor on 140lbs Paper, 11" x 15", For Sale (Contact me)One Sunday after Church my wife and I were invited to a friend's home and the guest speaker that day was going to be there. I was happy to hear that because I spent the whole time looking at the textures and shadows on his face. I knew that I had to get a painting done of him. After we ate and I asked him to step outside and I shot a few pictures of him.

Wow, that's a very nice comment Mak. I appreciate it. I really do. I am working on another weathered face, along with today's commission and a portrait of a child hood friend who died in Iraq. Speaking of which, I took a few shots of a former Marine Sniper who is no longer in. You wouldn't know he was a Marine by looking at him but the character on his face says something and it is a story I plan to tell. Can't wait to share it!
